Saratoga Springs Library - If you want to donate a book to Kedai Buku Rakan, the book must be clean, dry and free of odor. Unfortunately, we do not accept textbooks, dated reference books, or damaged or soiled books. Before donating, consider how the book will appeal to your client, both in terms of subject matter and presentation.
In addition to books, we also accept donations of audiovisual materials such as CDs, DVDs, and records. Opened in 1908, the Saratoga Library is a Classical Revival-style Carnegie branch with a distinctive Spanish tile roof and rich history.

Friends Of Saratoga Library
Skills are critical to their success in the workplace; resumes and job search plans are attractive to adults who are job hunting or looking to change careers. The Saratoga Library is one of nine Brooklyn libraries to provide a dedicated space for Zipcar, which gives patrons access to the popular car-sharing service.

Small donations (up to 2 bags) are accepted anytime during normal business hours. For larger donation quantities (up to 3 boxes), we require an appointment. To manage the influx of donations, we have 2 appointments per weekday, thank you in advance for your patience if you need to book early.

The store is run by Friends and provides substantial funding to improve the library and its programs. We offer books, CDs, records, DVDs and puzzles for children and adults. As our current health crisis disproportionately affects people of color and the working poor, and given our nation's current reckoning with systemic racism, implicit bias, and unearned privilege, we recommit to advancing racial justice by committing to scrutiny
, inclusive socioeconomics and human dignity to identify and remove barriers to service policies, procedures and practices. Librarian Ike Pulver announced the first policy update resulting from the process. The CDC community Covid level in Saratoga County is now Low.
Masks are not currently required inside the library, although all participants in internal programs and meetings and the Youth Room prefer to wear masks. Surplus books donated to Friends Bookstores and Libraries can be donated to community organizations and schools.
